Notice of Lease Terminations

At the end of the Lease term, if the landlord or the family wants to terminate the Lease, proper written notice must be given as stated in the Lease. A copy of the termination notice must be given to the Housing Authority of the County of Salt Lake (HACSL).

IMPORTANT NOTE: If the family does not comply with the Lease, HACSL recommends that the landlord enforce the Lease and take the appropriate steps to terminate the Lease. Copies of legal notices must be submitted to HACSL.

Once HACSL has received a 30-day notice, the family also receives a voucher and a moving packet, so that the family is able to search for a suitable unit.
